Cooper Tire Unveils CS4 Touring at San Antonio Test Track
FINDLAY, OHIO, MARCH 20, 2007 – COOPER TIRE & RUBBER COMPANY (NYSE: CTB) today introduced the next level in all-season premium touring tires – the Cooper CS4 Touring. The tire was unveiled to tire dealers and tire industry trade media at the company’s 1,000-acre, state-of-the-art Cooper Tire and Vehicle Test Center (CTVTC) in Pearsall, Texas, near San Antonio. At the launch, Cooper’s executive management, expert staff of performance tire drivers and racing professional, Johnny Unser, gave dealers and media a firsthand look at the quality and unsurpassed performance of Cooper’s new CS4 Touring.
Cooper’s new CS4 provides two all-season innovative tread options: a four-rib tread design (T-rated) and a five-rib design (H and V rated) with a size lineup that fits many of the most popular sedans, minivans and crossover vehicles on the road today.
The CS4 Touring represents Cooper innovation at its finest. And, at Cooper, leading-edge innovation is everything. Featuring a newly-formulated performance compound, this touring tire is derived and inspired from Cooper’s ultra-high performance tire technology for uncompromised all-season performance. The result? The T-rated CS4 features a limited 80,000 mile treadwear protection warranty, while the H- and V-rated offer a 60,000 mile warranty.
