Cooper Tire Prepares to Impress at Reifen 2004
The Reifen Tyre Trade Show in Essen, Germany, is the most important European show of the season and the Cooper and Avon brands will be out in force. There will be major displays at the show, which runs from June 8-11, from Avon, Cooper, Mickey Thompson, and the company’s Remould Materials division. Several brand new tyres will be exhibited at Reifen, alongside many recently released products.
Avon’s exhibits include the following:
- ZZR – the stunning road-legal trackday tyre launched last year.
- ZZ3 – Avon’s ultra-high performance tyre that’s making big inroads into the market.
- ZV3 – new this year, it blends first-rate performance with very low noise.
- Ice Touring – brand new, it replaces and improves upon the CR75 Winter Tyre.
- CR85 – the winter tyre designed especially for high performance cars.
- Ranger Sport – a recent addition to the 4x4 range, catering for SUVs fitted with larger diameter aftermarket alloy wheels.
- Ranger Ice – making its debut, this winter tyre is aimed directly at SUV owners who don’t want or need an off-road tyre.
- Ranger AT – the popular 4x4 tyre that truly is ‘All Terrain’.
- Azaro motorcycle range – from superbikes to sport tourers, it’s the tyre to ride on.
And from the Cooper Tire stable we have:

- Baja Belted – ‘the original’ Mickey Thompson off-road tyre that also performs well on the tarmac.
The Cooper-Avon Remould Materials division will exhibit:
- Segments of pre-cured treads.
- Other remould materials.
